Ownership of Website Design:

All website designs, graphics, layouts, text, images, and other creative elements created by Steadfast Media LLC are the exclusive property of Steadfast Media LLC unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise in a signed contract. Website designs provided by Steadfast Media LLC are licensed to clients for use on specific projects only and do not constitute a transfer of ownership of the design.

Copyright Protection:

Under the Copyright Act of 1976 (Title 17 of the United States Code), all original works created by Steadfast Media LLC are automatically protected by copyright. This includes, but is not limited to:

Website designs and layouts:

Graphics and images
Custom coding and development
Written content and marketing materials

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our copyrighted materials may result in legal action. Steadfast Media LLC reserves the right to seek compensation, including statutory damages, attorney fees, and costs associated with protecting our intellectual property.

Design Buyout Option:

In cases where full ownership of a website design is requested, Steadfast Media LLC offers a buyout option. Ownership transfer will only be granted upon receipt of an agreed-upon payment, typically ranging from $15,000 to $30,000, based on industry standards. Upon completion of the buyout transaction, Steadfast Media LLC will provide a written transfer of ownership, including the release of design copyrights to the client.

Unauthorized Use:

Any unauthorized use of Steadfast Media LLC’s designs, including copying, reproducing, or displaying our work without proper attribution, is a violation of our intellectual property rights. Legal action may be taken against individuals or entities that infringe upon our copyrights, and violators may be held responsible for legal fees and damages.

Liability Disclaimer:

Steadfast Media LLC is not liable for any third-party actions that may affect the website, including but not limited to unauthorized changes, hosting interruptions, or security breaches once the design has been transferred or accessed externally.
